Reflexology Course

ITEC Diploma

Reflexology involves the application of pressure to the feet or hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the hands and feet to bring about improvements in the body and help the body to heal itself. Reflexology is based on the principal that the systems of the body are mapped out on the soles of the feet. This allows us to check for imbalances within the body by performing specific movements of the feet.

• Contra Indications
• Concepts and theories
• Common Complaints

This course is available to students for whom it is more convenient to study on a part time basis and who have a recognised qualification in Anatomy & Physiology. It is offered twice yearly (October and June) (1/2 a day per week) and leads to a Diploma qualification with the internationally recognised examining body ITEC.

A&P is a requirement for this course. You can study this at an additional cost along side Reflexology .
