Aromatherapy Course

This is the use of essential oils that are incorporated into a massage routine known as Aromatherapy. Treating everyday ailments such as stress and tension, aches and pains, depression, weight problems and many other conditions.

As well as physical effects, aromatherapy massage produces a more optimistic outlook on life.

Some of the subjects covered:

• History and development of aromatherapy
• Essential oils, origin and production
• Use, care and storage of oils
• Blending of oils
• Dangers and safety considerations
• Contra indications
• Carrier oils
• Aromatherapy massage of the face and body

This course is offered on a part time basis twice yearly. Leading to qualifications with CIBTAC or ITEC examining bodies.

Prerequisite: Having completed or currently studying holistic massage or body therapy.

Please note minimum numbers are required to proceed with this course . In the event it may not run you can transfer payment to the next course date .
